Gov. Pataki has just proposed a $400 a year tuition increase and a reduc-
tion of state aid to CUNY’s poorest students. This would raise CUNY’s
tuition to $3,600 a year. This is on top of the $750 tuition increase in 1995.
Come to a Brooklyn College SLAM! meeting to build a broad-based
student movement to fight the budget cuts. SLAM! is an open and
democratic coalition of students committed to stopping the budget cuts.
